Culver's Root Planting Instructions:
Plant Culver's Root in full sun and in medium rich, slightly acidic soil. Spread the seeds widely across a 5 to 10" wide area. Water well during dry spells and keep weeds under control. The soil should be moist but not saturated. Because Culver's Root is a perennial, it will grow slowly during the first year, but will spread prolifically in the second growing season
Culver's Root Harvesting Instructions:
The root can be harvested when Culver's Root reaches its full height and maturity. Wait until the plant is 4 to 6" tall. You can harvest for several years from a single planting if you leave some Culver's Root plants in the garden at the end of each season.
